Puppies

We are available to be contacted at any time and if for any reason we don't answer, please leave a message with your number and we will contact you asap. If you want to go on our waiting list please fill in our contact form then we can discuss which litter is best for you etc. We will drop you a text every few months to see if you are still interested. All I ask in return is that you send us a text to let us know if you have changed your mind.

We encourage you to come and meet our family to give you an insight into their height, looks and demeanour. We find this helps new puppy families to make informed decisions with their head, not their hearts. When you visit please don't wear any clothes that you would mind having a loving dog mark.

We operate a first come, first served basis of allocating the puppies. Once the pups are born and settled well with mum, I will ring from the top of the waiting list. Please note this can take a while so please don't worry if I don't ring  straight away. I will ring everyone on the list, even if all the pups have been allocated.

Once you have chosen your pup, a refundable deposit of £500 would be payable to reserve. At four weeks you are encouraged to visit and confirm this is the pup for you. The deposit then becomes non-refundable and the balance must be paid before you collect your pup.

We also encourage you to visit your pup as often as possible so you can form a bond which will help once you are home. We will keep you updated on your pup's progress regularly until you take your pup home. We would appreciate if you could keep us up-to-date with your pup through our Facebook so we can see how they progress. Thank you in advance. We will offer a lifetime of care and advice for you pup.

The pups are handled often by myself and family including my two young grandchildren. They are socialised with our older dogs and are used to all the household noises you would expect from a busy household. We like to put the pups outside, weather permitting, so they get used to different surfaces to walk on and the smells and sights too. The pups are otherwise in our home so they feel part of a family.

The pups will be wormed at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks, nails clipped regularly. We weigh them weekly after weighing them daily in their first week just to make sure they are growing well.

The vet will give them a health check a few days before you pick them up. This will also be when they have their microchip and first injection. They will come home with a puppy contract, puppy food, toy smelling of littermates, and a list of useful information, most of which, we will discuss beforehand but just so it's written down for future reference.
